Sarah was the lucky winner of a gift certificate for a photo session and it was absolute perfect timing that her little guy was turning one. Now normally for first year sessions I always bring a custom made cake but Mr Trevor was not a fan of said things so instead we settled for a giant wedge of watermelon. But cake smash (or watermelon eating in his case) aren’t just about the baby. These sessions include family shots and sibling shots and turn out to be a pretty meaty session.
We found a great spot in Sparks, Nv with a beautiful open field and even more awesome abandoned barn. I love wide open spaces.
This little guy was not quite walking but still loved trying…
Gotta love it when sister “accidentally” knocks her brother over…LOL
Miss Emma was a doll and I loved the dress her mama picked out for her. I adore her innocence in this shot…So like I said this wasn’t your typical cake smash session. Mom, who is also a photographer, had a vision for a truly customized session that would encompass everything her little man loved. Trevor loved mud and trucks and so thats what we did. I brought gallons of water out and made trevor his very own mud pit! This old tonka truck was one that my own kids played with and he loved sitting in the back of it. I’m pretty sure he loved the mud too. 🙂And the watermelon….To say he loved it is an understatement hahahaThis session was so much fun! Warm weather, smiling kiddos, watermelon grins and good ol fun family time. Thank you Wing family for trusting me with your memories!
